Mechanical adjuster

Auxiliary adjustment tasks on machined parts: manual deburring, welding, sanding, countersinking and threading mainly.
- Interpretation of plans and planning of the work strategy.

The position involves the design and development of surgical instruments and implantable medical devices, both single-piece and assembled with high precision mobile components. It includes tasks such as design for manufacturing, selection of production processes, mechanical calculations, prototyping, verification and validation tests, generation of technical drawings and industrialization, as well as collaborating in the optimization and quality control in production.
A degree in mechanical engineering or similar, experience in standalone mechanical design (preferably more than 5 years), proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation, advanced English, knowledge of FMEA and planning is required. It is also important to have experience in manufacturing methods such as machining, lathe, 3D printing or injection molding.

- Rapid prototyping.
- Verification and validation testing. Solve critical engineering challenges required to successfully manufacture, test and validate Abanza medical devices.
- Generation of drawings and technical documentation necessary for the correct manufacture of the same.
- Industrialization of the developed and validated products.
- Determination of critical quality parameters to be controlled during the production process.
- Production validation and optimization together with the Production department.
- Technology watch and market analysis.
